Zina Cochran - Designer, Creative Talent, Driving Force

Since 1994, Zina has been creating corporate identities, collateral materials, advertisements, maps, illustration and other print media for a wide range of clientele. Dedicated to her clients, she produces eye-catching pieces that are on time, on budget, and most of all, on target for her client's marketing and communication needs. Zina is able to translate her client's desires into compelling and effective pieces. Freelancing since 1998, Zina has shared her talents with everyone from local governments to advertising agencies to large and small businesses in Southwest Florida and beyond.

Zina's diverse background lets her see projects from more than one point of view. Having experience in the printing, publishing and marketing industries as a graphic designer, her knowledge base enables her to work in different areas of design to create successful solutions for a variety of needs.

Zina has earned a reputation for being easy to work with, creative, professional and able to meet any request with a positive attitude. From concept to final production, completing projects creatively, effectively and on deadline, as well as finding solutions to difficult problems is a source of satisfaction.

Working on PC and Mac platforms with Quark, Illustrator, PhotoShop, PageMaker and Streamline, Zina is able to accommodate client and production house needs. Other work experience includes eleven years of photo lab and darkroom experience including management, training, photography, retouching photographs and negatives, and restoring damaged or old photographs.

Jeff Cochran - Web Designer, Programmer, Spider Squasher

Jeff has been in the computer networking industry for 15 years and has been working with web design and programming for more than a decade. With a creative background as a commercial and portrait photographer and darkroom technician, Jeff is extremely effective in adapting graphical elements to the peculiarities of web browser displays.

Awarded a Microsoft MVP designation for Windows Server/Internet Information Server, Jeff has a vast array of industry contacts for wide support of web server management, web programming and internet technologies. You will often find him helping others with web scripting and server support issues in the Usenet newsgroups, freely providing answers and suggestions from his extensive knowledge.

Jeff holds a bachelor's degree in Management and an MBA, as well as numerous technical certifications. His experience includes back-end database integration and programming, database design and user interface creation, and many of his web designs are dynamically created from current data on the system, preventing stale and dated content from being displayed.

In concert with Zina, Jeff enables web designs that are clean, fast and informative, believing that the primary goal of any web site is to present information to the end user in as clear and understandable a format as possible. This means Jeff's web designs are naturally intuitive, and devoid of fancy web trickery used simply for the splash and glitz. The advertising adage of "sell the sizzle, not the steak" wears thin on today's savvy and often hurried web users who expect to find information and a clear message. He designs sites with ease of maintenance for the client in mind, allowing clients to perform their own updates to the sites without paying "maintenance fees" that are often designed to enrich the web programmer rather than cover the cost of maintaining a site.

Quality work, delivered on time at a fair price is the goal of both Jeff and Zina, with the creative and business experience to meet or exceed this goal. Balancing the left-brain/right-brain operations of any creative business is a challenge, but it's a challenge they are pleased to rise to.
